Default Colourable Greens

I love my Purple Ascalon Armour, and my Purple Axe. I even love my purple Belt Pouches, what i dont love is my shield. It's a Tanzit's, but it just doesnt fit the colour scheme i am trying to attain (obviously i want all Red ).

Should Anet allow Green items to be dyed?

that is the point of greens though, they are other characters weapons and can't really be yours, you can't even mod them the way you want, so why b able to dye them the way you want?

I tried dying my IDS green - hoping for green flames - how cool would THAT be? (Wink, wink. Nudge nudge!)

Yeah, I definately think you should be able to dye green weapons/shields/focus items and what not, I don't know about anyone else but I get greens for their stats---it's an easy way to get what I want in my equipment, but I'm pissed off that my mesmer (who's totally bad ass, by the way) is stuck walkin' around with a pink/purple wand/focus item. Honestly...

i really dont think that u should be able to get dye greens, since they are "special" items in the game. They are not regular items. they are in since an item that u took for killing the "origional owner". so u cant change them

Right and inherant properties of some items should not be negated, I immagine that (considering most comments above which said what I was going to say about it being the original owners and thus can't be changed) the designers would like to keep these items looking the way they wished I.E. Korvalds will crusher should not end up looking like, deafgoats willcrusher. Mabye just my oppinion, maybe that was the original intent.

Well the original animal is dead, just like the mangy dogs of the charr or various other animals you experience in your daily adventures. Dead, its guts splattered all over the paths of sorrow's furnace, and I say again, dead.

As such it should no longer have any more claim to YOUR item, and yes I think it should not only be dyable, but moddable too.

Furious Victor's Battle Axe of Enchanting, wow...

(Needless to say the mods should override the existing mods)

I realize these items are not 'ours.' But does dying then realy change them at all?
